THE MOREA ASSOCIATE PROGRAMME

The Morea Associate Programme has been designed for a selected number of students who are already receiving strong foundations from their dance schools. 

 

Our international Associate Programme runs monthly in different locations, including Cheltenham, Scotland, and is the leading associate programme in the Republic of Ireland.

Associates benefit from working with our top-class faculty and guest teachers and from specialised days of work in classical ballet, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Contemporary, Improvisation, Virtuosity, Body Conditioning, Singing, Tap, and Folk/Latin rhythms. They also have the opportunity to perform as guest artists in the College’s Summer Showcase (Conditions apply) -available for Senior Groups only.

Requirements

​

IRELAND

-The minimum age to apply is 10 years. (Successful candidates will be allocated into different groups depending on age and dance experience).

-To have previous dance experience at grade 3 ballet as a minimum.

-To complete an audition registration form, attend and succeed in the audition process.

CHELTENHAM and SCOTLAND

-The minimum age to apply is 13 years old. (Successful candidates will be allocated into different groups depending on age and dance experience).

-To have previous dance experience at grade 4 ballet as a minimum.

-To complete an audition registration form, attend and succeed in the audition process.

The audition fee is: £20 GBP

​

Successful candidates will be notified by email.

 The Morea Associate Programme offers

Please also make sure that your dance teacher supports your intentions to join the Programme. We respect the work they have already invested in your training, and their support is required for you to join us.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

To maintain the sustainability of the programme and its ability to comply with our commitment to our Associates, staff and venues, we are unable to provide refunds for missed lessons or for withdrawing from the programme as a consequence of illness, injury, holidays, academic and dance school activities and any other unforeseen circumstances that would prevent the Associate from attending the sessions and/or completing the programme.


The programme fee charges are based on enrolment status and not actual attendance.


The assessment criteria of the audition or invitation for a dancer to join the Morea Associate Programme is specific to the programme's goals and different from the auditions for the Morea Performing Arts' full-time courses.


If the associate is considering pursuing a career in the performing arts industry, we would be delighted to arrange a personal meeting to discuss the topic and the associate’s aspirations.
