Usage of Photos/Footage

In accordance with our child protection policy, we want to explain further about the photos and footage we would create during the programme.

We will occasionally take pictures/footage during the programme’s lessons (dance, drama, and singing), photo studio experiences (dance photos, headshots, and/or modelling experiences), and other activities related to the programme.

Images will be stored on an electronic hardware/device and kept for a period that last the current academic year when they were created. Then, the photos or footage will be delete.

The authorised staff who will have access to the images will be:

Ms Katie Morea - Principal at Morea Performing Arts

Ms Tracey Lee - Assistant to the principal

Mr Eduardo Martinez Yanez - Vice-Principal and Head of Student Welfare at Morea Performing Arts.

Following the permission granted by you when submitting your child registration audition form or reenrolment form to use any generated footage created during the programme, Morea Performing Arts (MPA) will take all steps to ensure these images are used solely for the purposes explained in the form and below.

Any of the photos from the photo sessions included in the associate programme will be considered educational experiences. The fees the associates and/or their parents/legal guardians pay for the programme will not be considered a reference for a commissioned work.

Each associate will receive a couple of edited photos from those generated in each photo session as part of the educational experience.

PURPOSES

Photos and/or footage would be used in printed publications related to any of the Morea Performing Arts activities, such as print and electronic publications (including our website and social media accounts), prospectuses, brochures, adverts, posters and banners.

You can ask Morea Performing Arts to stop using the images at any time. In that case, they will not be used in future publications but will continue to appear in publications or electronic posts already booked or due to be published and/or in circulation.

The images taken/produced will be subject to the current copyright legislation in the UK and The Republic of Ireland and Morea Performing Arts will be the copyright holder.
